Genesis Malaspina

Genesis Malaspina was born in Venezuela and moved to the United States at the age of eight, seeking new opportunities and a brighter future. Her journey to becoming a U.S. citizen was one marked by determination and community engagement.
In 2014, Genesis became involved in a pivotal moment for her family and community when she participated in the first citizenship clinic organized by Mi Familia Vota as an applicant. The experience not only granted her citizenship in 2015 but also ignited a passion within her to empower others in similar situations.
Driven by her desire to make a difference, Genesis began her journey with Mi Familia Vota as a volunteer. Over time, she immersed herself in various programs, gaining invaluable experience and insight into the needs of the community. Her dedication and hard work didn't go unnoticed, and she steadily progressed through the ranks.
Today, Genesis has the honor of serving as the Citizenship Program Coordinator at Mi Familia Vota. In this role, she channels her passion for helping others into tangible action, guiding individuals through the citizenship process and fulfilling their dreams of becoming U.S. citizens. Genesis continues to be an inspiration, embodying the spirit of empowerment and advocacy in her work every day.
