Make a Plan to Vote

Are you a U.S. citizen and eligible to vote? Making a plan is simple:

  1. Make sure you are registered to vote. Find out what you need to register at your county elections office website.
  2. Will you need time off? Can you vote early? In a state like Colorado, early voting is available as much as 15 days from election day all the way until 3 days before it. Colorado allows 2 hours of paid time off to vote on Election Day. Plan ahead and see what day works best, and if you can vote early, do so.
  3. Coordinate with friends or family. Get three others to join you in voting. Ask them if they have a plan.

Check your local county election official website to ensure you have what you need to vote. For mail ballots, remember that your signature on your ballot must match the signature on your voter registration.
