Genesis Corral

Genesis Corral is a passionate advocate for human rights, political representation, and democracy. She was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, where her family has a long history of immigration from Cananea and Magdalena, Sonora, Mexico. Her great-grandparents arrived in Arizona in 1919, sponsored by E.O. Brown to work on the cotton fields in what is now the DC Ranch neighborhood in Scottsdale.

After 17 years of working and managing her family's restaurant in Scottsdale, Genesis decided to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps and become an advocate for the Latino and Indigenous communities. She joined Mi Familia Vota in March 2022 and has since dedicated her time and effort to creating a more participatory democracy.

Genesis is a true asset to the Mi Familia Vota team, with her deep commitment to her work and the fundamental importance of human rights. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her furry companions and exploring new places with her family.
