Managing Attorney, Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project

Heidy Pineda is the managing attorney at Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project. Pineda has had a vast career in law dedicated to helping the Latino and immigrant population. She has created and worked on local civic engagement projects to increase voter turnout among communities. Prior to her role as managing attorney at Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project, she was supervising attorney at the Legal Orientation Program for UCs

Pineda earned his bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
