A native of El Paso, TX, Anaí graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso with a B.A. in Multimedia Communications.

She has free-lanced, volunteered and worked full-time for nonprofits and political campaigns over the last 10 years in the regions of El Paso, Juárez, Las Cruces, Austin, and San Antonio for people and places advocating for those on the margins.

She currently lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband and daughter.
