Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Alejandra Cajero is a first-generation graduate from the University of Houston with a double major in Political Science and Broadcast Journalism.

With over a decade of experience in public service, she is excited to join Mi Familia Vota as the Citizenship Coordinator in Texas.

Serving as a resource among her friends and family, Alejandra is knowledgeable about the naturalization process in the United States. Drawing inspiration from her parent’s own immigration journey, Alejandra is eager to empower others to understand the civic opportunities that come with citizenship.

When she’s not active in her community, Alejandra likes to explore new places, support the performing arts, frequent her favorite restaurants, and spend time with her sister and cat.
