Monica grew up in Chicago and graduated from Saint Xavier University with a bachelor's degree in social work. As the daughter of immigrant parents, she developed a deep passion for helping others and empowering her community.
As Citizenship Coordinator, Monica supports permanent residents on their path to citizenship by organizing workshops, assisting with naturalization applications, and educating immigrants about their rights. Her work is driven by a commitment to social justice and community empowerment.
Outside of work, Monica loves spending time with her dogs and scrapbooking, capturing moments of joy and creativity.
