Julian Guevara was born to Ecuadorian immigrant parents who instilled in him the values of perseverance, community, and service central to Latino culture. Growing up as a Latino and a minority, he personally experienced the challenges faced by marginalized communities in accessing the freedoms and rights promised to all.
With a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Eastern Connecticut State University, Julian is committed to advocacy and community service. As a community organizer for MFV, he is passionate about empowering Latinos, people of color, and underserved groups to embrace the importance of community and equity. He is dedicated to fostering a future where youth can lead the way toward a just, inclusive, and sustainable democracy.
