Jessica is an Emmy award-winning storyteller with nearly a decade of experience in news production, reporting, and nonprofit communication. She is thrilled to bring my passion and skills to the Mi Familia Vota Team.

For more than 6 six years, Jessica has been deeply involved in the immigrant rights movement, focusing on deportation defense campaigns and shining light on harmful anti- immigrant policies.

Her commitment for social justice and migrant rights is deeply ingrained by her personal experiences. As an immigrant from El Salvador who suffered the trauma of family separation at just six years old due to an unjust immigration system, she has dedicated herself to advocating for the immigrant community.
